The Tynewydd Bach lodge has one bedroom with a king-size bed. For couples with a baby, there is room in the bedroom for a Travel Cot and a booster seat can also be provided – please contact us to arrange this.
The bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. The shower is very simple to use, including high or low settings and a dial to control the water temperature. There is an extractor fan with an isolator switch located in the bedroom above the bathroom door. The towel rail will heat up when the central heating is on but can also be independently switched on when the central heating is off. The switch is labelled and is just outside the bathroom door. In the bedroom there is a hairdryer in the dressing table drawer in the bedroom. An iron is located in the wardrobe with ironing board tucked beside it.
The lodge has an open plan lounge/dining room and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a fridge with small freezer box, small dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer and a cooker with an electric oven and hob. Constant hot water and heating when required are provided by the combi boiler, situated outside the property.
A dust pan and brush are under the sink, a vacuum cleaner is beside the bedroom cupboard and there is a broom in the shed.
We have a Charcoal Kettle Barbecue with instructions available on request for your use. Note that we make the barbecue available to both properties so please give us notice if you would like to use it.
Also in the shed, we have provided an airer and pegs for your use. The hot tub net is also located just inside the shed door.
Heating: During the winter, the heating is on constantly. In the summer, the heating comes on twice a day. Radiator temperature can be adjusted by turning the thermostat, located on the wall to the left of the patio doors.
Instructions for oven and hob can be found in the kitchen drawer.
We aim to operate a ‘green’ policy – please turn off unnecessary lights, sockets, TV and so on when not in use. Please could we also ask that you recycle as much as possible. Please refer to the recycling information page for details.
In the unlikely event of any problems with the plumbing, electrics or gas supply, please contact us as soon as possible.
Wifi is available at Tynewydd – details are at the bottom of the tv and internet information card located in the accommodation.
You will also find a lovely cosy Hobbit stove wood burner, ideal after jumping out of a relaxing hot tub on a cool evening! This will be set for your arrival with an initial supply of matches, firelighters and logs located in a basket on the hearth to one side. Extra logs can be supplied during your stay at a small charge. Please only burn logs to prevent clogging in the flue.
