about your stay

Thank you for choosing to stay at Tynewydd! We have made every effort to make your accommodation as welcoming and as well appointed as possible. We live next door at Tynewydd Cottage. Please feel free to come to us with any enquiries or for more information. Contact us from the website, by text or by phone – our phone numbers are provided on the fire safety notice located on the wall just inside the door of your accommodation. One of us will be here to welcome you (at a safe distance!) when you arrive.

PLEASE NOTE: We hope that you will have a safe and trouble free stay but in the event of any problems at all please communicate this to us as soon as possible, either by knocking on our door or by using our mobile numbers.

All the information in these pages is correct at time of writing. Please let us know if there is anything which you think we could add and particularly if there is anything you do or visit that you think others might also enjoy.

If you have any questions in advance of your holiday which are not covered on these pages, please contact us – we will be happy to help.

Arrival and Departure

The property will be ready for you from 4pm on your arrival day. It would be really helpful if you could let us know roughly what time you expect to arrive.

Parking

On arrival, you are welcome to unload your car outside your accommodation. Your designated parking is in the bay indicated beside the lodge, just inside the gateway on your right as you enter the drive.

Keys

We will usually be here to greet you outside on your arrival and will let you know how to retrieve keys and access your accommodation. If you are arriving at a time when we are not present we will make arrangements with you in advance regarding key collection.

You will receive one set of keys – please call us immediately if you lose them. Please make sure the doors remain locked when you are away from the property.

For Tynewydd Cwt the keys will allow you to enter the shepherds hut double doors on its front side. Please walk from the drive through the gate around the edge of the hut up the steps to the hut doors.
For Tynewydd Bach the keys will allow you to enter the lodge door from the drive. There are two separate locks – 5-lever mortice and yale – a key for each is provided.

Departure

On the day of your departure please would you vacate the property by 10am.

Please would you ensure you log out of any internet services which you have used on the television – for example, Netflix.

Please advise us of any breakages or damage so replacements and repair can be ready for new guests. Any damage, such as breakages, may incur a small charge.

At the end of your stay please return the keys to us at the main house. If we are not available, please would you post the keys through our front door letterbox and send a text to let us know.
